Based on the short story written by Ray Bradbury

You said I was the sun.

But you treated me like I was Margot.

You said I brightened up your world.

But you shoved me in the closet.

You treated me like a flower.

A flower that only blooms for one hour.

I tried to give you everything I had.

But you realized it way too late.

You treated my kindness like a toy… you treated me like I was always going to stay… you treated me as if I hadn’t already been hurt enough before!!!

I am Margot.

And you ruined my summer.

It felt as if I hadn’t seen the light of day in seven years.

I thought there would be an eternal storm cloud over my head.

Until I met my sunshine…

And you best believe that I will treat her like the rarity that she is.
